Privacy Policy for DropWatch

1. Information We Collect
Automatically Collected
- Device Token (FCM): A Firebase Cloud Messaging token is generated on your device to deliver giveaway notifications. This token is sent to our server only if you enable notifications, and only to notify you of new giveaways.
- Analytics Data: Firebase Analytics collects anonymized usage data (screen views, session duration, crash reports) to help us improve the app. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Advertising ID: Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to serve relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
Stored Locally on Your Device
- Claimed history: The giveaways you mark as "Claimed" and their total value are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
- Home screen widget: Giveaway summary data cached for the widget is stored locally on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Third-Party Services
DropWatch uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/privacy
- Firebase (Google) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- GamerPower API — gamerpower.com — Public giveaway listing data. No personal data is sent to GamerPower.
4. Data Retention
- Your FCM token is retained on our server only as long as notifications are enabled. Turning off notifications in Settings removes it from our server.
- Claimed history and widget data never leave your device — uninstalling the app removes them entirely.
5. Children's Privacy
DropWatch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Your Rights
- Opt out of personalized ads: Go to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- Disable notifications: Turn off the notification toggle in DropWatch's Settings screen, or via device Settings → Apps → DropWatch → Notifications.
- Delete your data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data (claimed history, widget cache).

8. Changes to This Policy
